Right then, lads, hold onto your hats! I just watched a match that was, like… totally electric between Aston Villa and Man City. 2-1, proper scrap it was! Alright, alright, it’s not Barça playing, but gotta do something while we wait for the next clásico, innit? 😉
Goals galore (well, almost)!
Two goals for Villa, one for City. The stats tell us J. Duran and M. Rogers made the net bulge for Villa (good on ’em!). And for City, it was P. Foden who salvaged some pride in the 90 + 3rd minute. Honestly, scoring in the last second, that’s proper grit! Even though, let’s be honest, another little goal for City wouldn’t have hurt, eh?
Possession’s alright, but goals are better!
Man City had more of the ball (55% against 45%), but in the end, Villa wins. Just goes to show, possession ain’t everything! Reminds me of when PSG dominates but still gets caught out… Gotta be clinical in front of goal, lads!
